Western Stoves

Western Stoves & Spas is growing with Las Cruces and surrounding areas by striving constantly to improve our products and services through education and participation in the national and local organizations that relate to our industry.

Our Business Philosophy

To provide quality products and services at a fair price. We strive to treat our customers and our employees the way we want to be treated and to keep people coming back, not only as customers, but as friends. We are a family-oriented business, and the atmosphere we hope to offer is one that is positive and friendly.

The original business, Western Spas, sold fireplaces and baths to builders. The original owner worked out of his home, but Flores said he knew he should open a store in Las Cruces as soon as possible.

With his commercial location, Flores continued to sell spas, but he also added hearth products — including wood, gas and pellet stoves as well as wood, gas and electric fireplaces — along with all the accompanying accessories to those items — venting pipe, chimney pipes and other accessories.

The business is divided into two major areas — fireplaces and stoves. Whatever the preference, Western Stoves & Spas will handle the order, coordinate with builders, do the installation, obtain required permits, ensure proper installation and set up the inspection.

The business also has moved with the trends of the area — including outdoor living, going "green" and increasing cost efficiency — and provides a product for each trend.

Western Stoves & Spas´ selection of hearth products and fireplaces fulfills each need for customers.

We see our employees as an extension of our business and the first and last contacts that customers have with us. We want to have employees who like their job, who treat customers the way they would want to be treated — with honesty and trustworthiness — and who will be respectful of each person´s needs.

Much can be said about a company's employees. We could give glowing reports about the quality of their work, but the real truth is from our customers. Our customers know our workers by name and speak very highly about the quality of their work. Also high on the list of compliments are politeness, consideration of the work place, and ability to instruct the customer on correct use of the product.

We strive to assist you in obtaining the best and safest material for your situation. If we do not carry the product you need we are happy to direct you to someone who does. We are glad to answer your questions or do the research to be able to answer them.
